Walton Hall Golf Course is open
In line with England Golf Union recommendations, Walton Hall Golf Club has re-opened.
Premier municipal course
Situated within the heart of Walton Hall and Gardens, meandering through a beautiful layout of mature trees, lies this very demanding and challenging 18 hole championship golf course. What started as a nine-hole course in 1971 was quickly extended by Dave Thomas and Peter Allis six years later, due to its overwhelming popularity.
At just over 6,800 yards this course is an enjoyable challenge for golfers of all levels. With wide fairways and large greens, you can soak up the surroundings and enjoy your golf. It’s also the ideal venue for a society day or a low-key game with friends and family since we’re easily accessible from the M56, junction 11 (Daresbury).
With buggies, trolleys and clubs available to hire, you can just ruck up and get on. On-site, we’ve also got a great value PGA golf shop for you to have a good peruse through. In particular, we think you’ll be delighted with our quality tuition packages, suitable for all abilities.
Perfect for golf
In a picturesque parkland setting, with views of the Cheshire countryside from the elevated 13th tee, this is a perfect place to play golf. Is Walton Hall Golf Course is too good to be a municipal? Yes, but that’s why we love it. So, why not come and experience it for yourself, you’ll not be disappointed!
Our clubhouse and bar is located on the upper floor of the Old Stable building. You’ll not find a better place to enjoy a post-round drink!
As well as a super bar area, we also have a function room which is available for hire and can cater for all types of functions.
