Walton Hall and Gardens Film Fiesta

What a topsy turvy year it’s been for all of us. We’ve found it particularly challenging organising events, frequently having to change our plans at the drop of a hat. Following 21 July we’ve been frantically trying to organise a series of outdoor summer events in double quick time.

So, as you know, each year we like to host at least one foodie festival as well as a film extravaganza. Obviously, this year has been different, which has forced us to think outside the box a little. So, putting our collective heads together, we decided on combining the two. Thus creating a one-off, totally unique, never tried before – Walton Hall and Gardens Film Fiesta.

Film Fiesta screenings

Now, to kick-start this year’s Walton Food Festival, we’ll be premiering ‘Bridesmaids’ on Friday 13 August. You know, that film that everyone has seen, but it doesn’t matter because it’s funny, romantic and completely outrageous. Who wouldn’t want to view this under balmy summer skies, with friends, family, incredible food and a tipple or two?

Then, on Saturday 14, our Walton Food Festival begins at 10:00 am with beautiful and exotic food, music, drink and entertainment galore. But stay with us, because come evening we’ll be screening our second film of the Fiesta weekend as the sun goes down and the lights come on. We couldn’t help it – we went for another favourite. It’s classically British – funny, sad, soppy, exciting, it’s a Rom-Com featuring a man who used to have seriously floppy hair. Yup, its – Four Weddings and a Funeral

Tickets

At just £12.50 for a standard ticket, this is entertainment at its best. But if you want to up the comfort factor with a chair in a prime location, why not check in with a VIP ticket. So come on, get together family, call your friends and book a taxi home – because these are going to be nights to remember. And the best thing about the weekend? It’s wrapped up alongside the brilliant Walton Food Festival. So, mark the weekend in your diaries all and expect to be well-fed, watered and thoroughly entertained.

All in all, we think our Walton Hall and Gardens Film Fiesta is a win-win and the perfect tonic to go into mid-summer with family and friends.
