We’re excited to announce that we’ll be bringing back our outdoor cinema next month as we host a special screening of Dirty Dancing.
The worldwide box office hit will be shown on Friday 21 July, following the successful screening of Grease earlier this year.
See beloved film stars Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze in their most iconic roles as Baby and Johnny as they embark on their summer love story.
As well as the film to enjoy, there will be a selection of local food and drink vendors to ensure that you have plenty of fuel to keep you going throughout the show.
You can also treat yourself and upgrade your ticket to a VIP package, where you’ll receive a deck chair in a prime location, as well as some popcorn to enjoy as you sit back and watch the film.
If that’s not you, then you can keep it standard, bring something to sit on, claim your spot on the lawn and settle in for a night of double the nostalgia with an 80s film set in the 60s!
Cllr Tony Higgins, cabinet member for leisure and community, said: “Our outdoor cinema event for Grease earlier this year was so well received, we simply had no choice but to listen to feedback and bring it back for another night of film under the stars, this time showcasing the incredible Dirty Dancing.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a night of cinema within the beautiful grounds of Walton Hall and Gardens and I’m looking forward to more of our community coming together once again for a great night.”
