There has been real high ropes progress since we announced work was to begin on our high ropes venture. Since 21 September, construction has been steady, and with the help of good weather, there’s been some real progress.

Having posted out some images of our high ropes progress on Facebook recently, we were stunned to see the enormous interest the post received. Clearly, this is a venture that has caught the imagination.

Questions

Due to the considerable level of interest, understandably, our Facebook post raised  lots of positive feedback and also some common themed questions. So, we thought it might be helpful to make our answers to these common questions available to everyone.

Here goes…

Good question. We're hoping to open the site mid-March 2021. However, this will very much depend on the current covid situation. We'll keep you updated.

The owner of this venture, Jungle Parc, are aiming for a family orientated course, rather than a course that caters purely for adults. The course won't be age restricted as such. However there will be a minimum height which is expected to be about 1.05 metres (a child of about three years old).

This is a privately run attraction, operated by our partners at Jungle Parc. Over the winter we'll be having discussions on charges but we expect these to be affordable to the widest range possible and pricing will include discounts for schools and charitable organisations. We'll relay more on this information in due course.

Jungle Parc will operate an online booking facility once this attraction opens to the general public. Pay on the day will also be accepted, depending on availability. Details on how to book will be announced nearer to the completion date.

We’ll keep you updated with progress over the next few months. Not a bad start, watch this space.
