The incredibly popular Heartbreak Productions are back at Walton with three fabulous outdoor plays this summer.

This year, the production company bring us another fantastic David Walliams play, a unique twist on the classic Jane Eyre, and a brand new, original murder mystery with a comedy twist.

The first of the productions is Awful Auntie, based on the book by celebrated children’s author, David Walliams. The show will be hosted at Walton Hall and Gardens on two dates this summer – Friday 10 June and Friday 2 September.

It is a truly thrilling tale with owls, ghosts, chases, escapes, motorcycle rides, and tiddlywinks. It all fills the days as the main character, Stella, evades her menacing Aunt to save the family home.

Much Ado About Murder is an original play by Heartbreak Productions. It sets five suspects under the spotlight, with the audience playing a key role in finding answers to the crime. The play will be held on Friday 5 August and is suitable for ages 10 and over.

The third production is a surprising twist on Jane Eyre. It follows the heroine through her many ordeals with the backdrop of a carnival. The play comes to Walton on Wednesday 24 August.

All plays will take place outside in the gardens and will go ahead if it rains. Make sure you check the weather forecast and dress appropriately.

Ticket prices start at £10 and food and drink will be available to purchase at the events. A limited number of deck chairs are also available to reserve for each production.

Please be aware that dogs, excluding service dogs, are not allowed at outdoor theatre events.
