Looking for inspiration for your dream wedding? We’re hosting a free wedding fair this Sunday, 26 February, from 11am to 3pm.
The fair, run in partnership with The Wedding Party gives you the opportunity to view Walton’s five wedding ceremony options, set both indoor and outdoor across our beautiful estate, as well as chance to meet with a range of local suppliers and vendors to make your day unique to you.
If you’re looking to get married in a traditional setting, you can take a tour around the historic Walton Hall, which is full of traditional charm, or the vinery, which is part of the stunning Glasshouses offering plenty of natural light for your ceremony.
If an outdoor summer wedding is more your thing, there are three picturesque locations to choose from. The Bandstand, with its traditional style situated next to the Hall, the Pergola, set within the beautiful formal gardens or the newest addition to the estate, the Woodland Hideaway would be the perfect setting for a boho style wedding.
Vendors attending the event include wedding planning services, venue dressing, entertainment, hair stylists, make-up-artists, groom and bridal wear, party favours, and many more including a chance to meet Walton’s resident alpacas, Jim, Mally and Topaz in their very best bow ties!
The Walton Hall and Gardens events team will also be on hand to welcome you and answer any questions you may have about having your wedding at Walton, as well as their catering partner Carringtons, who can help you to plan the perfect menu for your special day.
As an added bonus, 50 couples will receive a free goody bag, featuring February’s hot off the press edition of ‘I Do’ full of additional wedding inspiration.
Cllr Tony Higgins, cabinet member for leisure and community, said: “We are extremely lucky to have such a treasure as Walton Hall and Gardens in Warrington. If you’re thinking of getting married I encourage you to attend the event on Sunday. It’s a great opportunity to view the venue options available across the estate, talk to Walton’s dedicated events team, and browse local suppliers who can offer expert advice to help you to plan your day.”
