In the build-up to Easter, we’ve been receiving many inquiries about different attractions and when they’ll be opening up. It’s understandable since many of you would typically make a trip to the Children’s Zoo at this time of year, especially.

So, here’s the breakdown for this Easter weekend and beyond…

Gardens open as usual

We’re open all through the Easter weekend, as we have been throughout lockdown. Our adventure playground is open, though we’d ask you to be mindful of social distancing rules in place. Similarly, the Heritage Cafe is open throughout the Easter period and will continue to offer a takeaway service only.

Of course, the gardens are accessible, and now that the rule of 6 has been re-instated – this weekend could be a good one to come along and enjoy a picnic – weather permitting, naturally.

Closed over Easter but reopening soon

Unfortunately, other attractions such as adventure golf, pitch ‘n’ putt, bowls, putting and of course, the Children’s Zoo will remain closed this weekend. BUT these are all set to re-open from Monday 12 April in-line with the government’s current 4-step plan.

Set to re-open on 12 April are the following:

  • Adventure Golf
  • Pitch ‘n’ Putt
  • Bowls
  • Putting
  • The Children’s Zoo

Jungle Parc

Also set to open for the FIRST time on 12 April is the long-awaited High Ropes, brought to you by Jungle Parc.

Here’s what you can expect (extract from their website):

‘The Adventurer Course has over 60 different activities and has 6 different levels of difficulty, suitable for children from the age of 3+ (minimum height 1.05m) and adults are allowed on the course to climb with children (red and black course only) making this course our first all round family activity.

Price per child is just £15.00 & £15.00 per adult and includes all equipment, a training instruction from our expert tree climbers and a session on our Adventurer Course, (time on site around 2 hours, with 1 hour and 30 minutes of that on the course itself).’
