On Monday 16 November access to Walton Hall and Gardens will be diverted due to the road closure of Walton Lea Road.
Walton Lea Road will be closed for up to five days as Warrington Borough Council undertake necessary tree and canal embankment maintenance works.
You can still visit the park; however, access to the park will follow a diverted route to the eastern entrance of our car park. Our map (below) details the diversion – since most people would typically use the closed-off route note the diversion from A to B. For further clarification it may be worth just checking .
The estate will manage pedestrian access to the towpath for the duration of these works.
