Fancy a tee time with the Mayor of Warrington? Join us on the green at Walton Hall Golf Course and help raise vital funds to support the Mayor’s charity appeal.

The charity golf day will take place at our premier municipal golf course, situated at the heart of the estate, on Saturday 30 April.

The course

Walton Hall Golf Course meanders through a beautiful layout of lovingly maintained greens lined with mature trees, with fantastic views over the Cheshire countryside.

The course and club is run by golf pros Nick Stark and Paul Hodgson who both have over 20 years professional experience within the profession.

The tournament

The tournament will be a Calcutta Stableford game. Golfers will tee off in groups of four, with each person playing their own ball throughout. So there are four golf balls in play, with the best score counting on each hole.

To take part, the cost is £200 for a team of four, or £60 for individual entries. Men must have a maximum handicap of 28 and ladies, a maximum handicap of 36.

On the day, registration will start from 8.30am with a 10am tee time. Refreshments will be served before the game, with hot drinks and breakfast sandwiches on offer, followed by a buffet lunch after the tournament.

There will be prizes for the winning team and runners up, and also an award for the nearest the pin and longest drive.
