In June 2020, Visit Britain announced the launch of a UK-wide industry standard and consumer mark to provide a ‘ring of confidence’ for tourism as the nation re-opened again after lockdown.

The ‘We’re Good To Go’ industry standard and supporting mark means businesses can demonstrate that they’re adhering to government and public health guidance. It also ensures that companies have carried out a covid-19 risk assessment, with the required processes in place.

If you’ve visited Walton Hall and Gardens over the summer, then you’ll know that the estate has done everything it can to make your visit safe. As well as having a one-way system in place, you’ll also notice social distancing posters almost everywhere. We’ve also set out numerous two-metre markings to enable safe queuing outside the Children’s Zoo and Adventure Golf.

With up-to-date information on our website, we hope you’ve had enough confidence in our procedures to come and visit us over the summer. So, after working through the Visit Britain self-assessment, we’re delighted that we’ve now joined thousands of other businesses and tourist destinations across the country. With this new Visit Britain industry standard and consumer mark, we want to ensure you that we’re a covid secure destination.

‘We’re Good To Go’.
