On 31 December 2020, Warrington entered into tier 4 covid restrictions alongside most other North West areas. Although this isn’t how we wanted to celebrate the end of the year, we understand that safety is the priority. Therefore, during these restrictions, our park is open for essential exercise only.

Following tier 4 restrictions, we have closed the Children’s Zoo, glasshouses and adventure golf until further notice. However, our zoo rangers will be caring for the animals as usual, and you can catch up with their exploits on our social media pages! Please note that the leisure train rides and fairground attractions have also closed for the time being. Our toilet facilities and car park remain open.

Please ensure that you follow government tier 4 requirements and visit either alone, with your household, support bubble, or with one other person if you maintain social distancing.

To support social distancing and avoid queues, you can now also pay online and at our machines. Plan your visit by downloading the Ringo App to pay for your car parking. If you have difficulty in doing this, you can call 01925950080, siting location number 18157.

As Warrington enters into tier 4, please find out how Walton Hall and Gardens is affected via our updated FAQs.
